The Grand prize winner will be recognized in conjunction with the promotion of the Boise Aquarium and on the web site, your name on a plaque in the Aquarium, you will receive a $2,500 scholarship held by Boise Aquarium until time of school registration, a 3 year Premium Family pass, special behind the scenes tour of the Boise Aquarium including one-on-one time with the animal trainers, and a Boise Aquarium t-shirt.

Second prize winners (one from each category A-G) will also receive a 2 year Family pass, a special behind the scenes tour of the aquarium as well as one-on-one time with the animal trainers, an Aquarium t-shirt, and recognition on the web site.

Third prize winners (one from each category A-G) will receive a 2 year Season pass to the Boise Aquarium, an Aquarium t-shirt, special behind the scenes tour of the aquarium as well as one-on-one time with the animal trainers, and recognition on the web site.

The Boise Aquarium Education Committee is asking that you encourage your students to participate as the Aquarium will have education programs to fit each grade level. Entry deadline is May 9th st The Boise Aquarium will pick up the entries from each school. Each school should send an email to Covino@boiseAquarium.net for pick up please include the amount of entries and address of school, all entries will be picked up no later than by May 14 th , 2008. Winners will be announced by May 28 th.

Contest Guidelines: Entries will be judged on originality, creativity and delivery of the term Boise Aquarium.

• Must be created on paper, poster board, no canvas please. No smaller than 8 ½ “x 11” and no larger than 11” x 17”. (No frames please.)
• May be created using any medium. No computer generated art will be accepted.
• Must not show names or other information identifying artist or school on the front of the poster prior to judging.
• Students name, age, grade, teacher and School must be legibly written on the back of the entry.
• Must have the term “Boise Aquarium, Opening 2008” on the front and must be legible.
• Art may also convey the mission of the Aquarium (To educate and inspire the community to conserve oceanic life.), but not required.
• Deadline is May 9 th no entries will be accepted after deadline.
